Joe Curcio Auto Sales, Inc., d/b/a The Dixie Pickers, is a small, family-owned and operated dealership proudly serving customers since 1984. Founded by Joe Curcio after years in the new car industry, the business was born out of frustration with how larger dealerships treated people. Joe set out to build something different, a dealership grounded in honesty, lasting relationships and high-quality vehicles.
Over time, Joe’s commitment to honesty and quality built a loyal customer base, many of whom became lifelong friends. After Joe’s passing in 2010, his son Matt took the reins, determined to honor his father’s legacy. While the transition wasn’t without its challenges, Matt remained firmly rooted in the core values the business was built on.
In 2015, Matt made a bold move, shifting the company’s focus to Custom Medium Duty Hauler Trucks. He believed this niche was underserved and saw the opportunity to deliver lower-volume, high-quality inventory with unmatched attention to detail, he was right. Since then, The Dixie Pickers has become a leader in custom medium-duty hauler truck sales nationwide.

Originally founded by Joe Curcio Sr., the family patriarch, the business was where Matt and his brother Joe grew up learning the trade, understanding customer relationships, and developing a deep respect for doing business the right way. Today, that same foundation drives every decision, every inspection and every sale.

Matt Curcio
Partner
Matt Curcio continues the legacy his father built, combining generational knowledge with a forward-thinking vision for The Dixie Pickers.
Having grown up in the business alongside his brother Joe, Matt developed a deep understanding of inventory sourcing, customer expectations, and the hauler market. As co-owner, he focuses on strategic growth, quality standards, and maintaining the reputation the Curcio name has carried for decades.
Matt has been married to his wife, Corinne, since 2008, and together they are raising their two children, Emma and Eli. He is passionate about serving at his church and
actively investing in youth sports alongside kids. His commitment to faith, family and mentorship reflects the same dedication and leadership he brings to his role every day.

Myron Bowlin
Partner
With more than 30 years of experience spanning construction, manufacturing, logistics, and business operations, Myron brings disciplined operational structure and strategic leadership to The Dixie Pickers, driving performance, accountability and long-term growth.
Myron’s focus is on process discipline, team development and ensuring the dealership operates at a higher standard. His background in scaling businesses and driving operational improvements supports the legacy foundation built by the Curcio family.
Myron has been married to his wife, Cindy, since 1995 and is the proud father of four daughters. He is also a grateful grandfather to some amazing kids who bring tremendous joy to his life. Deeply committed to serving his community, he actively sits on nonprofit boards and invests his time and leadership in causes that strengthen families and local faith-based organizations. His dedication to faith, family, and service is foundational to both his personal life and professional leadership.

Joe Curcio
Sales Manager
Joe Curcio has been in the automotive business since 1984, bringing more than four decades of experience in vehicle sales, market knowledge and customer service. As Sales Manager, Joe leads with professionalism, product expertise, and a relationship-first mindset.
Joe is the brother of co-owner Matt Curcio and together they carry forward the dealership their late father started. Having grown up inside the business, Joe understands the responsibility that comes with earning a customer’s trust.
A proud United States Air Force veteran who served during Desert Shield and Desert Storm, Joe operates with discipline, integrity and accountability. He approaches every sale with the intention of building a relationship that stands the test of time.
Joe is a proud father of three and values family above all. Outside of the dealership, he enjoys football and NASCAR racing These passions reflect his competitive spirit and appreciation for performance, precision and teamwork, qualities he brings into his leadership every day.
Family values, faith and service continue to guide how Joe leads and serves customers today.
Sharon Howard
Office Manager
Sharon Howard ensures the backbone of administrative operations runs with precision and professionalism.
From documentation and compliance to transaction coordination, Sharon supports the team behind the scenes, so customers experience a smooth, organized process. Her attention to detail reinforces the structure and accountability that define The Dixie Pickers.
Outside of work, Sharon enjoys exploring nature, creating art, and capturing the beauty of God’s creation through photography. Her appreciation for detail and creativity is reflected not only in her personal pursuits but also in the care and precision she brings to her role each day.
Legacy is not only about history but it is also about maintaining standards daily. Sharon plays a key role in that consistency.


Heidi West
Shop Manager
Heidi West leads the shop and reconditioning process that protects the dealership’s reputation.
Every truck that enters our inventory moves through a structured inspection and preparation process under Heidi’s oversight. Her leadership ensures reliability, mechanical integrity and quality control remain non-negotiable.
She is a natural giver at heart and brings that same dedication into her personal life as a proud mother of two and a newly blessed ‘Grammy’. These roles reflect the love, strength and values that define her leadership style.
In a family business built on trust, standards matter and Heidi upholds those standards with consistency and care.
Cameron Platt
Reconditioning Technician
Cameron Platt is part of the hands-on team responsible for preparing trucks to meet our internal benchmarks.
From inspections to final readiness, Cameron contributes to the disciplined recon process that defines our inventory. Every detail matters because every customer depends on performance and reliability.
Cameron is newly married and embracing this new season of life with gratitude and excitement. When he’s not making memories with his bride, you’ll likely find him diving into a thought-provoking podcast or enjoying live music at a concert. He values a well-told story, whether spoken or sung and carries that appreciation for meaning and connection into everything he does.


Vilma Gray
Marketing Manager
Vilma Gray serves as Marketing Manager at The Dixie Pickers, where she leads brand strategy, digital presence and customer engagement initiatives. She oversees social media, advertising campaigns, content development and brand consistency across all platforms, ensuring every touchpoint reflects the dealership’s high standards and premium positioning.
Vilma brings leadership, coaching expertise, and elite competitive experience to her role as General Manager of the Carolina Flight. As an eight-year CrossFit affiliate owner, CrossFit Level 3 Trainer and Precision Nutrition Coach, she has built high-performing training environments and developed athletes with structure and intention.
She also brings three years of professional GRID experience, including membership on the 2024 National Championship team. Her background as an affiliate owner, coach and GRID athlete allows her to seamlessly bridge performance and leadership at the highest level of team functional fitness.
Vilma resides in Ocala with her husband, Brandon, and their dog, Waylon. Outside of training, she enjoys hunting, cooking and spending time outdoors.
With a commitment to continuous improvement, Vilma works to elevate the dealership’s national reach while maintaining the authenticity and professionalism that define The Dixie Pickers experience.
Josh Collins
Detail Specialist
Josh Collins plays a critical role in the final stage of The Dixie Pickers’ reconditioning process. As a Detail Specialist, he ensures every truck meets our premium presentation standards before it is photographed, listed or delivered to its new owner.
At The Dixie Pickers, we don’t simply clean trucks, we refine them. From exterior correction and finish enhancement to interior restoration and final delivery prep, Josh approaches each vehicle with precision and pride. His attention to detail directly supports the elevated brand standard our customers expect when purchasing a high-end medium-duty hauler.
Josh understands that excellence is built in the small details. His work ensures every truck represents the craftsmanship, professionalism and reputation The Dixie Pickers has built since 1984.


Orrin Nelson
Transport Specialist
Orrin Nelson serves as Transport Specialist for The Dixie Pickers, overseeing vehicle pickups and customer deliveries with reliability and precision.
Orrin began his logistics career in 1988 with Southwest Airlines, operating in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment. After a 30-year career in aviation operations, he retired in January 2018. He also worked for various IndyCar teams, including Al Unser Sr., Al Unser Jr. and Tom Sneva; experience that required discipline, mechanical awareness and exact scheduling.
In spring 2018, Orrin purchased a Freightliner Custom Hauler from The Dixie Pickers and loved it so much that shortly after began handling pickups and deliveries for TDP. Today, he remains a trusted part of the operation, ensuring every truck arrives safely and that every delivery reflects the professionalism our customers nationwide expect.
Buying Team
The TDP Buying Team is responsible for sourcing the right inventory nationwide. Every truck we purchase undergoes a thorough evaluation process focused on specifications, condition, market demand and long-term value.
Our buyers have in-depth knowledge of custom haulers, from engine platforms, chassis configurations to service history and conversion quality, nothing gets overlooked. We don’t chase volume; we pursue the right trucks.
Their disciplined approach guarantees that only carefully chosen inventory enters our reconditioning process and ultimately bears the TDP name.
Service and Maintenance Department
Our Service and Maintenance Department is the backbone of the TDP standard.
Every truck that enters our facility goes through a structured inspection and reconditioning process designed to ensure reliability, drivability and presentation quality. This includes mechanical evaluation, preventative maintenance, necessary repairs and cosmetic refinement.
Our technicians take pride in doing the work correctly the first time, protecting both our reputation and our customers’ investment.
